Alamo Drafthouse says that they will require face coverings once they reopen
The popular Alamo Drafthouse theater said on social media Friday that they were going to require those who are in their facilities to wear face masks unless they are eating or drinking.
Alamo Drafthouse did not give an indication as to when they would reopen their locations, which includes one location here in Corpus Christi, but they did stress the new measure by saying that it was not a political move.
Theaters around the country have been closed since the initial wave of COVID-19 began. Here in Texas, a nod was given by Governor Greg Abbott that theaters could reopen on March 1, 2020 at 25% capacity. However, most theaters have chosen to remain closed.
