Abbott extends Disaster Declaration for COVID-19 response
Governor Greg Abbott announced Monday that he is issuing a proclamation that extends the disaster declaration for all Texas counties in response to COVID-19.
The original disaster declaration was originally issued on March 13th and provides the state a variety of resources to serve Texans and mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Gov. Abbott has hinted that he is likely to announce a re-open in strategy as early as this week.
