Cracker Barrel Restaurants set to explore adding alcohol to their menu

During a quarterly meeting Cracker Barrel announced that they were exploring the idea of possibly including alcoholic beverages into their menu in order to bolster sales and get more people into their stores.

The popular chain says that they are looking at the possibility of things such as seasonal drinks and possibly even adding beer and wine to their menu. They also said that they are currently working with restaurants across 45 states to make the change happen and that has some people talking.

“I love their food and to finally be able to have a beer with their catfish would be a real treat,” says Corpus Christi resident Vern Howard. “I have no problem with beer. I’m sure my wife would love a mimosa to go with her Wild Maine Pancake breakfast.”

It is unclear when the chain might actually implement the potentially new offerings but a spokesperson says that they are working through the process as quickly and as responsibility as they can.

Time will tell what the drink will be in the future.
