San Patricio County Game Wardens arrested one individual Sunday evening for illegally hunting on private property.
Texas Game Wardens were alerted to the situation when the landowner contacted them Sunday evening with suspicions that somebody was hunting on their property. When they arrived they discovered the suspect had killed three-white tail deer.
The suspect was charged with multiple felonies and could face state jail time if convicted.
Game Wardens advise that if a person suspects that illegal hunting is taking place on their property they can quickly search for the local game warden’s cell phone number by searching on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website or by contacting local law enforcement.
Following the arrest the three deer and multiple firearms were seized. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
