Good Saturday Evening!
The rain has cleared out and we are trending towards increasingly clearing skies overnight and cooler as we reach for lows here in town down into the mid-40s going into Sunday.
For your Sunday it will start a bit on the cool side but warm up nicely to around 75 during the afternoon. Plenty of sunshine will prevail over the city and it should be a great day to make those last minute, masked and socially distant (as much as possible) holiday shopping runs.
Looking ahead into next week we see it mostly sunny Monday and Tuesday with another front approaching on Wednesday. We expect that to bring showers to the Victoria Crossroads and Wharton areas but for the moment we are going to call it mostly dry here in town.
Our high here on the south side of town got up to 76 degrees with a peak humidity of 90%. We recorded just a little over 1/10th of an inch of rain over at our Flour Bluff Laguna Shores reporting station.
