From time to time we will make a correction to a story and we will publish them here for review. Simple errors such as typos, misspellings or cosmetic errors may only have been changed within the content and posted on this page. We strive to do out best to eliminate mistakes in our reporting. However, they do happen and as a matter of full disclosure and transparency we keep a running list of major errors here. We regret them when they happen and appreciate your kind understanding.

—On October 3, we published an article that misrepresented a quote from Bill Kelly who is running as a write-in candidate for Nueces County Commissioner. The quote was meant to say “We have two really good legislators here and I have confronted them about unfunded mandates.” We have corrected the quote within the content and included further context to clarify the statement. We regret the inaccuracy in our handling of the quote and will take further steps to avoid such mistakes in the future. A link to the corrected content Can be found by clicking here.

–On June 30, 2020 we wrongfully reported that COVID-19 testing supplies would be delivered on Thursday not Wednesday. Within the same article we also referred to Tuesday as being Wednesday. We regret that mistake and on June 30, 2020 at 11:13 pm CDT. we made the correction within the content and noted the error within the story. Please see the corrected article here.
